This summer, we'll conclude our two-year study of the Westminster Confession by examining its final seven chapters. If you are interested in learning about what our confession teaches regarding the sacraments, church censures and councils, life after death, and the final judgment, then we encourage you to attend this class.

This class will walk verse-by-verse through 1 Corinthians, exploring how Paul's gospel-centered answers to the Corinthian church's struggles with division, immorality, and worship speak directly to the challenges of church life today. We'll see how the crucified and risen Christ moves his people toward unity, holiness, and faithful worship in a culture opposed to the gospel.

At Sovereign Grace, we talk a lot about the Word - reading the Word, preaching the Word, singing and praying the Word - but what is the Word of God? What qualities does it have? Why is it so important? This summer our young adults will be studying the doctrine of Scripture using Kevin DeYoung's book Taking God at His Word to better understand what the Bible is and what that means for our lives.

The Bible is full of stories, laws, poems, prophecies, and letters. But at its heart, the Bible is God’s unified, written self-revelation to His people, with Jesus Christ as the center of the Old and New Testaments. Come and study the Bible from this wide-angle lens as we look at how the whole Word of God fits together.

This class will begin in late July, at the conclusion of the Westminster Confessions Sunday School class.
