As a church, Sovereign Grace understands that our senior men and women have much to contribute to the church in their own life experience, wisdom, and service. In general, there is an honor that comes with older age, "Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life" (Prov 16:31). At the same time, there are many challenges that come uniquely with old age (Eccl 12:1-8). Through our various ministries to seniors, we seek to account for both. It is our desire to pastorally help men and women through their senior years with godliness, while also encouraging them to continue glorifying God through service to his church in ways that can only come with wisdom of a lifetime of experience.
