This year's Women's Retreat will be at Bonclarken Conference Center in Flat Rock, NC. It will be March 31st-April 1st orientation at Bonclarken beginning at 5:30pm on Friday. The retreat ends at 3:30pm on Saturday. The theme of this year’s retreat is “‘Sweeter Than Honey’: Finding Our Spiritual Nourishment in Scripture.” We will focus on the psalmist’s vision of Scripture in Psalm 119:97-103, where he expresses his love and desire for God’s Word (v. 97) as well as his appreciation of its practical guidance (v. 98) and savory taste (v. 103). The interactive sessions are designed to reinvigorate and reignite our passion for God’s Word—and for the One whom Scripture reveals.

Our speaker for this event is Dr. Rebecca Rine, an editor and writing consultant who specializes in the history of biblical interpretation. Dr. Rine is Senior Editor at Union Publishing and Research Professor of Theological Writing & Research at Erskine Theological Seminary. 

We have limited slots of the retreat due to space availability at the Conference Center, and we currently have room for 50 ladies. The cost of the retreat is $90 per person*, which covers everything from boarding to food and refreshments. 

We are accepting cash and check payments only this year. Please include your name and notate "Women's Retreat" when paying. You can pay during the passing of the plate, drop a check in the mail, or bring it by the church office during the week. Payment is due by March 17th or you risk losing your spot if there are women on the waitlist.
